Skinner Skips is a family run skip hire business serving the Island since 1985.
We specialise in skip hire and mixed waste segregation. In addition we are able to supply recycled aggregates produced from inert wastes, lorry hire, hiab hire, hook box hire and Recyclomix Concrete.
Skip HIre
We offer all size skip bins (including Extra Large 8.5 Ton skip and Large or Midi skips and/or trap-door skips for easy access). We aim to deliver our skip bins to you within the hour! Our company can also supply hook box hire, 10 ton, 16 ton and 18 ton lorries and 10 and 16 ton hiab lorries.
MIXED WASTE SEGREGATION & INERT WASTE RECYCLING SERVICES
We are proud to advise that 95% of all mixed & inert wastes are recycled through our chosen recycler and are able to offer very competitive prices.
RECYCLED AGGREGATES
Through our chosen Recycler we can supply certified recycled aggregates created from inert wastes to WRAP Protocols, which can be delivered by skip bin, tipper or hiab lorry. The States of Jersey and the Planning & Environment Department within their “Department of the Environment Supplementary Planning Guidance – Draft Advice Note – Consultation Draft – Site Waste Management Plans date May 2012” have included their intention to use recycled aggregates wherever possible in order to save waste to landfill.
RECYCLOMIX CONCRETE
We are also able to offer through our chosen recycler ready mix concrete using 10mm/20mm recycled aggregates. This eco-friendly ready mix concrete can delivered by skip bin, lorry or by our concrete batching vehicle.
